Playing catch-up…not unusual.
Here are some highlights from our August:
Grandpa and grandma Parrish came for a visit so we headed to the big city for a day of bouncing…
Just for fun…
One of the most exciting things that took place in August was the sale of our house in Nashville!!!! The two years of waiting for our house to sell was certainly full of blessings and growth but we were beyond excited to finally have it sold. While in Nashville we got to visit lots of friends and introduce Kharis to one of our favorite Nashville dining spots- McDougal’s (it’s a chicken place…hence the pic with a chicken.)…
Benny loves to play with his sis…

And Benny got to try solid foods for the first time…

On Thursday, January 22, 2009, at 4:50 in the afternoon, Kharis Grace Parrish entered the world. She was and still is such a wonderful little girl. Then on Monday, February 28, 2011, at 9:49 AM, Benaiah Wayne Parrish joined the family. He is truly a gift from God. We are so grateful to our Father in Heaven who has blessed us with the stewardship of these two children.
You are invited to check in from time to time and watch as Kharis and Ben grow and as Katie and I try to handle all of this. I am sure our attempt at being parents will be entertaining and sometimes just plain laughable. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
