A Tribute…To Husband and Daddy

Just a little tribute to Brian… husband and daddy.  These are just a few of the things Brian has done since we’ve been home… 

• Going to the pharmacy the day we arrived home from the hospital to pick up my prescriptions only to get there, find out they were closed, and that he would have to travel to the next closest suburb of Nashville to get them.  And THEN, upon his arrival was told they couldn’t transfer them.
• Running to Wal-Mart (and then through Wal-Mart) to get me medicine.  (I seriously should have timed his speed.  I think it might have been the fastest trip to Wal-Mart ever!)
• Trying for a burp but getting pooped on instead.
• Sitting with me and Kharis during feeding sessions that turn into hour and a half scream sessions. 
• Diaper changes that require three diapers before he finally succeeds….and laughing through it the entire time.  (Kharis is definitely getting the hang of cleansing her body.)
• Daddy time with Kharis.
• Constant prayers for me and Kharis.
• Being completely in love with this little girl.
• And SO much more.

 Brian is an amazing husband (I already knew this, though.  He always has been.) and father.  I can’t wait for Kharis to get to experience more and more the love, patience, persistence, and support of her daddy.
