Let’s Get Ready to Rumble
The time is finally here. The process of Benaiah coming into this world has begun. Katie and I made it to the hospital tonight around 8:03 PM and got settled into our room not too long after. Katie is now hooked up to all the mother-to-be machines and will be given a few medications tonight just to get her ready for the big day tomorrow. They have said they will start inducing her at 6:00 tomorrow morning. Tonight is the calm before the storm.
Please pray that Katie and the baby continue to remain in good health and that Katie gets a good night’s rest. Between the nurses checking in on her every few hours and all the cords she has connected to her I know it will be difficult for her to sleep soundly.

On Thursday, January 22, 2009, at 4:50 in the afternoon, Kharis Grace Parrish entered the world. She was and still is such a wonderful little girl. Then on Monday, February 28, 2011, at 9:49 AM, Benaiah Wayne Parrish joined the family. He is truly a gift from God. We are so grateful to our Father in Heaven who has blessed us with the stewardship of these two children.
You are invited to check in from time to time and watch as Kharis and Ben grow and as Katie and I try to handle all of this. I am sure our attempt at being parents will be entertaining and sometimes just plain laughable. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
